How Does The Hunter Douglas Platinum™ App Work?
The app allows you to control your window treatments individually, by room, or all together. A few different ways you can use the app include:
- Scenes – Set scenes to personalize your window treatments to positions based on time of day or activity. For example, a “good evening ” scene could lower all shades for privacy and security with a simple touch.
- Room – Use the slider bar to close all the window treatments in a specific area, such as in the master bedroom at the end of your day.
- Time of Day – Use the app timer to automatically activate timed scenes, even when your mobile device is not in your home, for added security and energy efficiency.
Automation can also help you control the amount of air loss through your windows at certain times of the day. For example, you’ll improve the energy efficiency of your home in the summer if your shades automatically close when the sun is brightest.
