2016 Federal Tax Credit Opportunity
At Window Products serving Connecticut, we’re always happy to help our customers find savings. We believe strongly in our Hunter Douglas products, and we’re happy that the federal government sees the value in them as well. The Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act of 2015, which gave federal tax credits on select energy-efficient products, have been reinstated for 2016.

Energy-Efficient Duette® Architella® Honeycomb Shades
The most energy-efficient window covering on the market today is the Hunter Douglas Duette Architella honeycomb shade, which is federally recognized as an energy-efficient product. This unique shade has a cell-within-a-cell construction and uses three distinct air pockets to trap cold air in the winter and heat from the sun in the summer. This design works in two ways to save you money on your energy bill. First, it acts as an insulation barrier to help maintain a consistent temperature inside so warm air doesn’t escape in the winter. Second, it reduces solar heat gain from the sun in the summer, allowing you to keep your environment cool and comfortable. Incredibly, in the summer, solar heat gain on an uncovered window is almost 76%. When you use Duette Architella, it drops to only 15%.
