New Textile Designs From Rebecca Atwood

The Design Studio™ From Hunter Douglas
Always giving customers new styles to choose from, Hunter Douglas developed The Design Studio, which lets consumers select a complete and signature look at their windows. And now, they’re teaming up with Rebecca Atwood in an inaugural featured-artist series. The collection includes eight of Rebecca’s designs, found in light-filtering or room-darkening options. You can choose from side panels, draperies, and roller and Roman shades. All of the fabrics in the collection are designed to coordinate with many different Hunter Douglas window treatments, so adding something new to a room will be seamless. The launch is coming soon, so be sure to check in on the availability of the new fabrics.
Rebecca’s Background
Rebecca Atwood grew up on Cape Cod, where she developed her interest in color and patterns. Living with Pattern: Color, Texture, and Print at Home is her bestselling design book that offers ideas for how to use pattern to decorate. Rebecca’s namesake collection of home goods includes bedding, pillows, and accessories, all designed for mix-and-match styling. “When creating this collection,” said Atwood, “I wanted to revisit traditional patterns, as well as soft textural patterns that are easy to layer into any space. Natural light is a luxury—it makes everything look better—and window treatments become such an important part of the room.”
