A client in the Pine Orchard section of Branford, directly on Long Island Sound recently had Window Products Awning, Blind & Shade Company install a 22 traditional square pull-up awning. The fabric was 100% acrylic Sunbrella Saxon Cascade 4884-000. For convenience, should a storm roll in, the awning can be pulled-up for protection.

An extended valance was installed around the complete exterior to give them the winning result. The client was thrilled because not only do the awnings and valance provide protection, they add a beautiful consistent look around the entire home.
Cleaning & Storing Awnings
While the awnings and valance can remain up all year round, the client has contracted Window Products Awning, Blind & Shade Company to take down everything in the fall and clean and store the awnings and valances for the winter. They will re-install the awnings and valances in the spring.
